The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House was founded in 1946 on the reopening of the Opera House after World War II.

The Royal Opera House hosts; one of the world’s leading opera companies, one of the world’s greatest ballet companies, and The Orchestra who play for nearly all performances given by both on the Main Stage. The Company unites tradition and innovation in world-class performances. It is based in the iconic Covent Garden theatre, in London.

During this stage of home learning the company has created an online series to challenge children worldwide. The series covers singing, dancing and making. There is also a ‘Challenge of the Week’!

They will be launching new activities every week for the next twelve weeks. We challenge our children here at Monteagle to take part in as many of the challenges as possible and send your videos into us to show your talents!

Please find the links below on how to get involved with the activities and learn more about the The Royal Opera House.

Good luck and stay safe.
