Nursery are reading Rosie’s Walk this week. The book is based on a hen called Rosie who goes for a walk and gets followed by a very sneaky fox. The book introduces children to positional language e.g. under, across, on top, through. To further develop children’s understanding of positional language we went on Rosie’s Walk in our garden where children followed a path and practised going under, across, on top and through spaces.
