This week the children have been role-playing in the doctors surgery. They have been learning about the role of a doctor/nurse and talking about their experiences visiting the Doctors surgery or a hospital. The children have really enjoyed sharing their experiences and engaging in group play.
This is what some children said:
Elaina: “The nurse gave me an injection at the surgery. I was brave and she gave me a sticker”
Noura: “The hospitals are for sick people. Doctors give medicine to make us feel better. My brother went to the hospital when he got hurt”
Mitchell: “Doctors help us”
Betty: “The nurse checks our ears and our heart”
Azaan: “We have to phone the doctors to get an appointment”
