In our final music assembly of the term, those children learning a musical instrument at Monteagle, or outside of school in Year 4 and above, were invited to perform to their peers. We were entertained my pianists, drummers and even some guitarists too!

Children performed a range of pieces including famous classical pieces such as ‘Greensleeves’ and ‘World in Symphony’ to pop hits like ‘Flowers’, ‘Golden Hour’ and ‘Believer’. You can watch how amazingly they got on below!

Our Rocksteady students also took part in a performance, performing ‘We will rock you’, ‘All star’, ‘Seven nation army’ and ‘There’s nothing holding me back’. It was so great to see how much their confidence and skills have grown since their December performance and I can’t wait for the next one!

If you want your child to learn the guitar or piano after school with a music teacher, please speak to the office to sign your child up for the summer term.

If you would like your child to join one of the Rocksteady bands, you can find out how here:
