This week in year 1, we had the opportunity to celebrate our RE day by delving into the wonderful world of families and friends. Through various activities, we explored the uniqueness and special moments that can be found in different family dynamics. Our students were fascinated to learn about Shabbat, a special day of rest in Jewish families, as well as Raksha Bandhan, a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. It was a day filled with reflection, understanding, and respect for the diverse cultures within our school community.
