The children were visited this week by a specialist teacher, who leads art and design within the school. He used air drying clay and encouraged the children to press a variety of dried flowers into the clay to create prints. The prints were then made into small tiles which will be painted once they are dry. The children enjoyed working with this manipulative, enjoying the clay using their senses.
