Year 5 have been studying the topic ‘Living Things and Their Habitats’ in science. We started the topic by looking at the lifecycle of different animals. This week we discussed how some organisms reproduce using male and female cells where as others reproduce by alone by making identical copies of themselves. We then looked at how plants use pollination to reproduce by dissecting and labelling the different parts of a flower.
