This term we have started our geography topic ‘Hooray, let’s go on holiday!’ where we are learning all about the UK. We have started by looking at our local area. This week learnt about physical and human geography then went for a walk to see what human and physical features we could find around out local area. The children had a lovely time and were able to spot many human features and some physical features. We came to the conclusion there were lots and lots of human features because we are in a town.
We are looking forward to expanding our work into exploring the four countries of the UK.
