The children are finally back in school!

There has been a lot of conversations this week, catching up with our friends and new teachers. We have been super busy too. We have dived straight into Maths and English lessons, using a range of different resources to help us get our learning back on track.

Here are some pictures of us, in Year 3, completing a place value activity in Maths and a freeze frame activity in English, from the book we are reading for Roald Dahl week called ‘The Magic Finger’.

We also created our own poem using strips of coloured paper to come up with a detailed descriptive sentence about a key part in the book, followed by a question that we might ask if we were the characters we read about.

Lets look forward to what next week’s learning brings.
