Children across the school have had another day of maths work on shape.  Nursery children used shapes to create pictures.  Year 1 children continued to look at the names and properties of 2D shapes and used this knowledge to compare two different shapes.  In Year 5, the children accepted the challenge to find as many words they could with horizonal symmetry.  Year 6 are looking at using their knowledge of angles to find the missing angle in a straight line, a triangle and around a point.

5F seem to be running off with the title for TT Rock Stars but will they be able to keep their top position for the last two days of the England Rocks competition. 5F have currently the 19th highest score in England.

Shape joke of the day:  Why did the obtuse angle go to the beach? A: Because it was over 90 degrees.
