This week nursery have been making shakers by filling bottles with oats, pasta and spaghetti. The children then took the shakers over to the music area and used them as instruments whilst singing nursery rhymes. This activity also served as a fine motor activity where children posted objects through a small hole. We encouraged children to count how many times they posted in the bottle.
