This week we are reading Jack and the Beanstalk. The children have enjoyed listening to the story and engaging in numerous activities related to the story, for example ordering the beanstalk in height order, exploring the characters in the story, mark making and writing favourite parts of the story, creating giants using building blocks and planting our own beans. The children have a really good understanding of the story and can now retell the story in their own words.
