This week, Year 2 finished their instrumentals for our new rock song, ‘I wanna play in band’. They used three notes on their glockenspiels to achieve this and worked well in partners, supporting one another by saying the notes, pointing at the sheet music or the actual notes on the glockenspiel. We also sang some other songs to prepare for our singing assembly with growing accuracy such as ‘Here comes the sun’ by the Beatles, ‘Cloudy day’ by Tones and I as well as soul classic ‘It’s all right’ by Jon Batiste.
