This week in Year 2 we have started our new topic in History; How was school different in the past? We started of by looking at images of Victorian classrooms and discussed as a class about what we saw and how it compares to classrooms of today. We couldn’t believe just how much our classrooms have changed over time! We then had a task of placing images of schools in the past correctly on  a timeline. We spoke about why timeline’s are important – to show the order of events from the past. We have also been thinking about questions we would like to ask our special visitors who will be visiting us next week! (watch this space….)
