The children in Year 1 have had a fantastic first week back at school. All the children have settled in really well to the routines and are having lots of fun completing their learning tasks.
In the afternoons this week , we have been finding out about how we learn. We explored how we use knowledge and skills to help us understand. The children took in an obstacle challenge where they had to use clues to find the knowledge they needed to understand the task and then practised the skills they needed to complete the task. Everyone had a great time practising the skills we need and we are looking forward to completing the challenge on Friday.
