Family members of the Nursery spent time completing a variety of maths activities with the Nursery children at our exciting maths workshop on Friday the 4th of November. The workshop included listening to a talk about how to incorporate maths when doing daily routines and how to use everyday objects from our home to teach maths. The adults and children had a fun time practising counting objects, making shape sandwiches, creating colourful pictures from different shapes and doing a shape treasure hunt in the sand area. There was also an opportunity for the adults to listen to Mrs Young teaching a maths lesson to a group of children.
