This week year 3 have explored properties of different materials to consider how and if they were suitable for creating a sturdy structure that could have other materials attached to it. The aim was to consider what materials would be suitable as well as most suitable for building the frame of a greenhouse, whilst also considering the ways in which to attach the sections together.

Year 4 began a new topic on pneumatics. For more information on this, check out https://kids.kiddle.co/Pneumatics

Year 1 had great fun exploring texture and pattern through printing with Lego. Some children considered how lettering and numerals needed to be reversed in order to print the correct way.

Year 2 began a new topic on vehicles. This week we explored and considered the similar and different features and mechanisms on vehicles and their purpose. We will go on to investigate how wheels and axels are able to work before designing and making our own moving vehicles.
