Year 5 have started a new science topic – Earth and Space. This week we have been learning about the solar system. The children took turns acting out the orbital pathways of the Sun, Moon and Earth. We learnt that the Moon orbits the Earth while the Earth orbits the Sun. Next week we will be looking more closely at how the Earths orbit changes the seasons.
