Last Monday Reception had the most wonderful time at Barleylands Farm.
They were able to enjoy feeding goats; see the sheep, ducks, rabbits, pigs and highland cows; ride the tractor and make delicious pizzas.
The children also got to see how vegetables are grown on the farm and how we could use these to make our pizzas.
We were very fortunate to have three wonderful members of the Barleylands team escort us round and look after us during our visit. All the children were fantastic, their behaviour was brilliant and everyone had a wonderful time. We were incredibly proud of them and they were a credit to Monteagle.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents who came to help and all those that offered their services, without you trips like this wouldn’t be possible.
