We have been learning about the Hindu celebration of Diwali. We were very lucky Ms Goswami, who works in our nursery came in and spoke to us about Diwali and how it is celebrated. She read us the story of Rama and Sita. She even bought some beautiful clothes that the children wear, some rangoli patterns and statues of Hindu gods to show us.
We then made our own rangoli patterns, diva lamps and decorations.
