The children in Year 4 have been enjoying reading our new book, Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx. There is a lot of mystery surrounding the book which we have been trying to figure out. Our focus has been on the main character and her adventure-seeking father. Will Marcy end up proving she is a real Brownstone and be as brave and courageous as her dad? The children did some role on the wall, freeze framing and drama to really understand them, and more recently they wrote some fantastic diary entries from the main character’s point of view. They produced some of their best work so far. Well done Year 4!
