On the 5th of October 2016 Monteagle competed for the borough cross country championship. Fifteen schools from across the borough entered the competition making it a very difficult and exciting race. Students from Year 3 to 6 were eligible to compete, giving some of our younger students the chance to represent the school for the first time. With some outstanding performers from Year 5 and Year 6 earning a silver medal each. Overall we had top 25 finishes throughout the team and beating personal best times, this completed a great day for Monteagle Cross Country Team.
