In year 2 as part of our curriculum, we have been learning about IT technology, it’s uses and how to use it safely. We spoke about the most common types of technology and why we use them. The children came up with some great ideas for example, we use computers and laptops to work and do our homework on and we also spoke about other forms of IT technology that is found in shops such as a card machine, scanner and cameras. We discussed how we use different forms of information technology safely, in a range of different environments. The children then listed the different rules that might be associated with using them.
