Day: 3

Weather: Cloudy with sunny spells

Number of tired children having to be woken up: 15

Number of visit by tooth fairy: 1

We must have been tired from the day before as the adults had to wake up more children this morning and it took us a bit longer to get ready for today’s activities.

Two groups took the day to scale a local mountain that forms part of the Black Mountain Range.  We climbed up the centre part of the gorge until we reached the summit.  We all agreed that the views along our walk were stunning.

Whilst two groups were exploring the mountains, the third had fun riding the rapids amongst the gorges and discovered how dark the tunnel.

After a lovely dinner, we played games of bingo and tried to slide a CD with a lit candle across the floor, seeing who would slide it the furthest without the flame going out.

Tomorrow we rotate the activities before having to pack our bags in readiness to return home.

We are sorry that we cannot share more pictures but we are really struggling to upload pictures using the centre’s Wi-Fi.  We hope to share more of the photographs on our return to school over the next few weeks.
