Over this week, the children in Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed wearing Odd Socks to support Children in Need. Children have also excitedly turned up to school dressed to express themselves on Friday.

It has also been Anti-Bullying week and the children in Year 2 have designed their own posters to prevent others from bullying and support victims of bullying.

We also visited our newly designed school library and children across Year 2 were excited for the reveal! It certainly is an inviting space, which promotes a joy for reading.

In English, children have been focussing on similes and have learnt to write a poem based on the main character Funni in the story of the The Secret Sky Garden. In Science this week, children have explored habitats further and have been learning all about how living things are suited to different habitats.

The children in Year 2 were dressed to express themselves in support of Children in Need. Every child looked fabulous! Jesse in 2K shared how just like Pudsey, he likes to help people. How wonderful!
