Introducing our brand-new Walk and Talk group every Friday morning.

We know that being a parent can sometimes feel like a whirlwind of nappies, tantrums, and endless demands.  But fear not! Our Walk and Talk group is here to inject some fresh air, laughter, and support into your parenting journey.

So, what’s the deal? Picture this: a leisurely stroll/rapid walk around  Goresbrook park , surrounded by fellow parents who understand the joys and challenges of raising tiny humans. As we walk, we’ll chat, share stories, swap tips, and maybe even indulge in some light-hearted venting (because let’s face it, we all need to let off steam sometimes!).

Here are a few reasons why you won’t want to miss out:

1. Community Connection: being a parent can sometimes feel isolating, but with our Walk and Talk group, you’ll instantly become part of a supportive community of like-minded parents who’ve got your back.

2. Fresh Air, Fresh Ideas: There’s something magical about being outdoors. It’s amazing how a simple walk in nature can clear the mind, spark creativity, and inspire new solutions to old problems.

3. Fitness and Fun: Who says parenting and exercise can’t go hand in hand? Walking is a fantastic way to get moving, boost your mood, and sneak in some much-needed self-care.

4. No Judgment Zone: Everyone is welcome, we believe in lifting each other up, offering support, and celebrating the unique journey of parenthood.

Ready to join the fun? Our first walk will take place on Friday 8th March meeting at 8.45am at the Parent Room opposite the Stamford Road Entrance or meet us by the playground in Goresbrook Park at 9am. Don’t forget to lace up those trainers, grab a water bottle, and bring along any little ones who might enjoy some fresh air too!

We aim to walk for around 45 minutes, dependant on how you are feeling afterwards, you can go home and collapse in a heap or come back to the parent room for a debrief and a cup of something hot and a well earned biscuit.

Let’s walk, talk, and rock parenthood together!
