This week at Phoenix the children had another week full of fun tasks and lessons that were extremely exciting to take part in.

This week, we had another one of our classes take part in our science lesson exploring light and dark. They used different light sources to experiment with this and they seemed to thoroughly enjoy this lesson. They used the torches to see how light changes within class, and looked at the different colours and sizes of the stars on the board using the stars toy.

During some English lessons this week, some of the children were celebrating Mog’s birthday from the story Meg on the Moon. They absolutely loved having all the birthday gifts and decorations out on the table. They were truly engaged and really enjoyed playing with the balloons and birthday cake that were on the table.

Other children decided to make cakes for Mog’s birthday. They were using playdough to create their cakes and small utensils to carefully shape them.
