This past week we have had so many rainy days. On Thursday there was a period of time when it stopped raining and the sun came out and we took full advantage of it. We found so many exciting little surprises like finding snails, bugs and caterpillars. We also discovered the joys of using mud to create lovely chocolate soil cakes, mud pies, green leafy tea and mini-beast pizza. Yes your children probably came home with muddy shoes and spots of mud on their clothes but it was so exciting spending time using our imaginations and developing our sensory play.
