Year 3 were very excited to travel back in time to meet a very special visitor – Bhal the Stone Age Man.
Bhal told us what it was like to live in the Stone Age and explained how people lived through the three ages: Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic. We experienced living in a cave and learnt about the importance of fire. Afterwards we collected water from the pool, being careful not to wake the sabre tooth tiger and caught a woolly mammoth in a pit!
We all enjoyed the experience.
