The book we have been reading this week in reception is called ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’.

Children listened well to the story and talked about their favourite part with their talk partner. Children were also able to re tell the story using some great adjectives that they have learnt during carpet sessions. Children enjoyed reading this book and loved learning about the different animals.

The photos are a few examples of what children saw at the farm. Children have been using their phonic knowledge to write their wonderful words.
