Year 3 are very lucky to be able to work with Mia, an artist from Bow Arts, to create banners for the four houses; Longbridge, Becontree, Eastbury and Mayesbrook. Class 3G are designing and creating the Longbridge banner.
The process began with each class drawing images to represent their area. Four of these drawings were then selected and Mia showed the children how to turn the drawings into stencils. Once the stencils had been made they were then used by the children to print on paper, card and fabric.
In a couple of weeks Mia will be back to guide us on how to embellish our prints. We are all looking forward to this.
