The key messages from our meeting were that your children have started the year fantastically well, displaying brilliant learning behaviours and attitudes already. The children have been set for their core lessons (Writing, Maths & Reading/Grammar). Their sets reflect the gaps in their learning and not necessarily just their abilities. Finally we want you all to know that our year 6 team is available as often as we can possibly be, and we hope to have an open dialogue with you all throughout the year. No matter how small, please feel free to make contact with us and we can arrange a suitable time to meet.
We will meet later in the year to discuss the children’s SATs.
