Work to be done at home – Week starting May 18th

Thank you to Eliza and her sister Sophia for sharing how they commemorated the very special 75th anniversary of VE day. They put a smile on all the school staff’s faces by sharing such a lovely photo! Well done!

We have received some excellent home learning this week including some excellent Abdul Kazam advertising posters and some challenging perpendicular lines work in maths! Well done for sending in your work! You have made it tricky for the teachers to choose their gold certificate winners!

This week in English, we are continuing  ‘Leon and the place between’.  The tasks will include writing a diary entry in role as a character and planning and writing your very own stories!

In maths this week, we would like the children to identify and draw parallel lines. Don’t forget to login to Timetables Rockstars too!

In your curriculum homework, you will look at the life cycles of plants, create a timeline from the Stone Age to the Iron Age and create painting and designs from Pre-Roman Britain.

Please remember to also login to your Bug Club account where you can read independent books and your teacher can see how you’re getting on.

Remember all the tasks highlighted in green are to be sent to your teacher so they can give you help for the future.

Keep smiling and take care,

All the best,

The Year 3 team
