Home Learning

Work to be done at home – Week starting June 1st 2020

Welcome back Year 3! We hope you have managed to enjoy the beautiful weather during the half-term holiday and hope you’re ready to take on the challenge of some more home-learning this week!

This week in English, we are finishing  ‘Leon and the place between’ and starting ‘One Plastic Bag’.  The tasks will include completing a book review, making predictions, role on the wall and designing your very own basket made of biodegradable materials! Don’t forget to keep reading the independent books on bug club and if you run out of books please let your teacher know either by email, purple mash or zoom. We will be checking you are reading regularly!

In maths this week, we will be looking at area, particularly square centimetres and metres. Don’t forget to login to Timetables Rockstars too!

In your curriculum homework, you will looking at time, writing character descriptions based on appearance and finding out what a stereotype is.

Remember all the tasks highlighted in green are to be sent to your teacher so they can give you help for the future.

Keep smiling and take care,

All the best,

The Year 3 team
