What an uplifting week we have had. Colonel Tom (as he is now know) celebrated his 100th birthday. Not only is that an achievement in its self, but he has raised over 30 million pounds by walking around his garden 100 times. Then there is 6-year old Harmonie-Rose Allen who has raised thousands of pounds despite losing some of her limbs to meningitis.
Well done for staying at home and staying safe. You are doing an amazing job. We are all missing you and although it is hard at times, we know it is the right thing to do at the moment and we will see you all soon. Here is a little something that the teachers have made, hopefully to put a smile on your face. Can you see all the year 6 teachers?
This week we have a special day on Friday commemorating 75 years since the end of war in Europe during the second world war. This is the work you will need to upload so your teacher can provide you with feedback.
Until next week, stay safe.
- Some of the lessons come with a worksheet. You don’t need to print these. You can simply write your answers in your book. Try and be creative, not only with your answer, but also the way you present your work.
- Each day there will be two maths activities. You only need to do one of these activities. Choose the activity you feel you can complete independently.
