Reception year have been really looking after the plants in our outdoor garden. They observe them regularly to see how they are growing. The children have shown such maturity and taken on the responsibility of looking after the plants so well that now they tell us when they need to be watered.
Below are some of the observations children made:
Lilliella: “The plants need to be watered, they look dry.”
Enoch: “They are growing really high and big now, it’s because it’s sunny and we give them lot’s of water.”
Gerardas: “We need to make sure the plants have water everyday, these ones need to be put under the sun, they are not growing very big.”
Aizen: “The plants are green and very beautiful.”
