All the teachers in year 2 would like to thank you all for the continued support in home learning your child.  It has been lovely to reply back to the personnel emails the children are writing to us. Thank you.

This week in English, we would like the children to look at an image of a dragon and complete each task of work which will be used to help your child use their imagination to write their own story about the dragon. They might like to think about the following questions:  has the dragon been on adventure? Where did he come from? Was he good or bad? Who helped him?

In maths this week, we would like the children to begin to think about 2D and 3D shapes. They will be asked to look at the shapes and compare them. Also, can the children recap answering the addition and subtraction questions.

Please remember to also login to your Bug Club and Timetable Rockstars to help with both your reading and times tables.

We look forward to seeing some of your fabulous work and smiling faces.

Remember all the tasks in red are to be sent to your teacher so they can give you help for the future.

Keep smiling and take care,

All the best,

Year 2 teachers.
