The year 5 children recently made a visit to the Science Museum, South Kensington, as part of their science topic ‘Earth and Space’. The space exhibit was truly phenomenal! Children were in awe when they saw space shuttles, spacesuits, scaled-down models of the universe and some children had the opportunity to wear real astronaut gloves! They felt truly inspired. It is fair to say the highlight of their day was going to the IMAX cinema and watching ‘Our Beautiful Planet’ in 3D; the images taken from the International Space Station were out of this world…literally!
